As a cool tone connoisseur I am shocked that Nudetrals was the one that spoke to me and Cooltrals was actually a huge letdown, it’s a blue palette with a twist. Also really over seeing berries and plums incorporated into cool palettes it just never stops 😭

It’s been so long kinda don’t remember the first book but I did stop reading it cause of the end of the first book. I agree it was good till the last end. I honestly can’t wait for august to be in Halloween mode! But I also don’t want to feel like I’m rushing the year cause it’s going by so fast already. 🐶🦋📖🎃🍓

So far this year I have loved quite a few books. This month has been too many books over 600 pages. I did love the Butcher and the black bird and leather and lark, waiting on book 3 for the finale. Just for the summer was so good and fast paced, there's just so many good releases. I unlike you couldn't wait for funny story to come out in paper back and I am starting this today along with Flock from Katie Stewart. 😘💜📚

Definitely loved the Throne of Glass series! I current just finished Powerless by Lauren Roberts and I highly recommend it!! Awaiting her new book Reckless soon! I have started on The Serpent and the Wings of Night by Carissa Broadbent and so far it’s been pretty good!! 📚❤

I wonder if I had a similar situation with the Red queen series considering I've never read the last 2 books. I remember really liking the 1st one back when I read it. But I must not have been super into the 2nd one since I never continued. I read it back before I was using goodreads so I don't have anything to look back on to reflect lol

I just read acortar at the end of last month and beginning of this month.. and now I'm reading TOG. I'm 100 pages into heir of fire. So far I prefer acortar but with 7 books I know it takes time. I do like it tho. 😊

I kind of got lost, what series are you talking about? You downgraded the book to a 3. Edit: I read the comments and figured it out. I've never read the Mortal Instruments series, for some reason I always found something more interesting to read...lol. I am 57 years old too. But, I loved reading The Hunger Games as an older adult...lol

I have stubborn eyelashes as well. The lor3al telescopic LIFT It's in a black tube and it's at the drugstore.. the brush grabs my lashes nicely, the formula makes my lashes look really pretty ❤😊 recommended 🎉❤

Oh god The Mortal Instruments series. I have tons of info. All of the Shadowhunters books were a huge thing for me and my friends in middle and high school. In terms of the brother and sister thing, it doesn’t get resolved until book 3. Clary and Jace are both annoying about it; Clary doesn’t believe Valentine but Jace does. It’s a whole mess that works itself out but drags along. I wound up much more invested in side characters like Magnus and Maya than any of the main characters. Overall, it was a good series, but there is that hurdle. Cassandra Clare, the author of all of the Shadowhunters stuff, has some icky fanfiction history. The brother/sister romance in this series was an adaptation from her Harry Potter fanfiction days where she wrote Ronald Weasley/Ginny Weasley romances. 👀 it’s as bad as it sounds. She also was one of the fanfic authors that pushed for the creation of the website Archive of Our Own that has no restrictions on the type of messed up stuff you can post. She also wrote Professor Snape/Hermione Granger fanfics and wanted a site were she could post that with the icky “age gap” and the icky Weasley siblings stuff without worrying that it would be taken down. She’s also middle aged and was an adult when doing all of this , not a teenager or anything. I have good memories of the Shadowhunters books but overall the author gives me the creeps. I hope this was helpful for you!

Honestly the brother sister thing killed it for me too. I tried reading the second one but it just didn’t get better and Claire just got more like obnoxious so for me it was a no but yeah I felt the same way at the end of the first book and never finished the series but it’s a popular one.

I bought the City of Bones, but unwittingly watched the Shadowhunter series, after about three episodes in they referenced the City of Bones in an episode and I looked it upend it was the same series. In the tv series they explained the brother and sister thing in the second series. I would keep reading.
